Ok I am not sure if my old plan to stop hairloss is going to work or not, so instead of waiting any longer I am going to go ballistic on this shit. I have come up with what I am calling “Operation Overboard,” which consists of the following treatments. 1.) Propecia I figure I have a couple repeditive things in there, but I am at the point where it is becoming a lot more noticable that my hair is falling out. I feel quite confident that my new routine is going to regrow a lot of my hair and keep what I have for many years to come. If this does not work than God really hates me and cursed me with some really potent hair genetics. |

I have been on the wonderful Propecia for a full 4 months and 1 day now, so I am nearing the regrowth phase. Saw Palmetto is just a weaker form of Propecia, I started out on it first until I was able to get a script for Propecia then stopped once I did. I would not be happy with keeping what I have now I am very greedy and want a lot of hair back. As of now I still have full coverage but some spots are getting very thin at a rapid pace. Since my hair loss started a little over a year ago my dermatologist is quite confident that I will regrow a good amount of hair. I am just trying to do everything that works in order to regrow as much as possible. |

Ok nizoral is a shampoo that you can get at most stores like Wal-Mart and Target, it is also the shampoo that the people who were used for the Propecia case study were using. It helps to block the type 1 alpha 5 in your scalp and it also is supposed to remove sebum deposits on your scalp which clog pores. Head and Shoulders is also supposed to have some DHT blocking ability, but I believe that Nizoral is the better of the two. Emu oil works like minoxidil does in that it stimulates the follicles to produce visible hairs again. It also is supposed to open the follicle so other topical treatments will work better. I think you can get it at the same stores I listed above, if not try a GNC or other vitamin store. Most multi vitamins are the same just look at the labels and compair them, personally I take Centrum. You can drink green tea but I am not sure if it will work the same way as the extract will, which is a pill taken orally. I am going from the guidelines set on which is, “Use 95% Extract, with at least 120 mg. of Epigallocatechin gallate, the strongest concentrate commercially available. It was this ingredient that was shown to have 5-alpha-reductase inhibitor properties.” You can also get this at the same stores. Most of the things on my list are not that expensive for how long it will last so I figure even if it helps a little it is worth buying. I spent more money getting my haircut than I did on all of the items conbined, except for the Propecia, so they are affordable. The best place I found to get the Minoxidil, Saw Palmetto, L-Lysine, and Multi-Vitamin were at warehouse stores like Sam’s. Wal-Mart will probably be your best option, if you are not a member of one of those places, which is where I got the Green Tea Extract, Emu Oil, and Nizarol Shampoo. |
