I finished this helmet for a female customer, and it’s a 300 diode helmet but it’s set to target “female pattern baldness” with an emphasis on the crown…

Don’t let the sides here fool you. You’ll look at the sides and think “yeah, whatever”…

…But as you see by this following picture, it actually has MASSIVE COVERAGE of the entire crown and top part of the head!

It’s hard to capture the depth with simple two-dimensional pictures, but that is a crap load of diodes that thoroughly target the entire top/crown of the head!

And to see it on the laser babe (and she’d kill me if she knew I put this pic up) so you can better see the area it targets:

Commentary…

So… whether MPB or FPB, what I’m finding with this helmet is that 300 diodes is easily the “standard” for it. I think when I get to the point that I can readily stock “premade” versions of it, 300 is going to be pretty typical. In order to do that, I’m working on better diode pricing -maybe even something like $2.50 for any increment. I won’t have that worked out for a couple of weeks, though, so don’t let that hold up any purchasing, and you can email me at lasermessiah (at) lasermessiah (dot) com for updates.

Yeah, so to head off any questions of “Why don’t other devices -like laser clinics- have that many diodes??” …let me go ahead and answer that it’s because of practicability. We *can* do that now. This helmet has side and back coverage out the wazoo which you can choose to fill or not. This sort of thing has never been precedented in the world of LLLT for hair loss, that’s for sure.

Anyway, over the next nine days, I have two 201 diode helmets and a 250 planned, and I think I have a 300 coming soon. Soon you’ll be able to see what these things look like, and you’ll be able to judge what looks best for you!

I`ve seen more than a few women with very noticable hairloss out there.(some have lost a hell of a lot).

Sucks enough for us men,but for women it`s got to hurt really bad I`d imagine.

Hey Cue–

This is my helmet that OMG is building and you are absolutely right about hairloss being triply excruciating for women. Guys can get by without hair even if they don’t like it (I think Bruce Willis is hotter without hair, for example), but a bald woman…that turns on no one, even if she’s “got a great personality.”

I’m pretty fortunate in my loss that I had A LOT of hair to begin with (I caught a little bit of the pic “True Lies” the other night, and realized my hair used to look exactly like Tia Carrer’s hair in that movie ) so even with all I’ve lost I’m still able to get by pretty good. But like you, I’ve seen more than a few women with so much loss that it makes me grateful that I’m not a lot worse. However, I can’t wear my hair “down” any more without a lot of spray…I either have to have a barret or the spray to hold it in place or my scalp will peek through in a couple of places. It’s so discouraging that even after six years (that was when I realized the hair I was losing wasn’t growing back) I still ususally cry a little bit or have a tiny diva-type tantrum about it when I’m fixing my ‘do in the a.m. LOL Women expect to get old, get wrinkles, get gray, and we are always well aware that gravity is NOT our friend…but we really don’t expect to lose our hair. It’s like a giant cosmic betrayal or something.

SO…this helmet that OMG is building me and the ground-breaking experiments he and others on this board have done have given me hope I didn’t think I would ever have for my hair. I’ve responded positively (although not earth-shatteringly) to the little Hairmax comb I bought so I’m hoping the helmet will give me enough back so that at least I can be a “wash-n-go” girl again. We’ll see. I took some before pics last weekend and plan to document my progress at the timeline increments generally accepted to show progress (i.e., every two months), and I will post developments as they occur.

OMG, again, and as always, THANK YOU for doing this for me. My laser hat looks FANTASTIC and I can’t wait to try it. I’ll be forever grateful to you for this.

And thanks to the rest of you guys, too, for being adventuresome and spendy enough to try the laser stuff, and to post your good results.

OMG,

Have you counted how many holes you’re making in the newest production messiah helmets? Looks like a lot!!

Lakers…

It probably has somewhere close to 600 holes!

…And everyone else…

We are going to try something a little “experimental” with this design. It obviously already has ample, tight coverage of the “problem areas”, but I’m going to put another 100 diodes or so kind of “scattered” around, spaced out around the front and sides. No, I don’t think it’d be as good as having full coverage on those areas, but maybe it’ll help -being that those AREN’T her main problematic areas, and that there is already so much damn energy being created up there!

So, we’ll see! Maybe once people have their 300 or so where they want them, it might be a good thing to space some out like that on the fringe.

Uncharted territory! lol…
