Can anybody help me i am trying to validate some research i have heard about. A question was posed to some young people would they exchange 5 years of their life in exchange for a full head of hair? Apparently over 50 % said yes they would and i am trying to track the source of this statement. Does any one know of this research?

I don’t know where you heard this but I would give five years away.

I think it was a poll in Men’s Heath Magazine because I remember seeing it also. But screw the 5 years I would give up a hell of a lot more to have a full head of hair until the day I die. The average male life is about 76 or somewhere around there, I would be more than happy to die at the 45 mark and I could easily be persuaded to knock it down to 40.

I would not sell my soul for just a full head of hair. Fame, success, money, and over all health would have to be tacked on in order to land the deal for me.

Well heres the real question: do you know how long your going to live? If you were quoted ‘death at 35′ and im 26 now, i wouldnt give up 5 years for james dean hair. If i was quoted at 90, bet your ass id burn those years. It all comes down to amount of time living/enjoying your hair or dying without hair.

That’s why you go by the average life expectancy, which I believe is around 76 but it might even be higher.
