UPDATE:

THIS WILL NOT BE DONE HERE… THIS WILL BE DONE AT . ALL OF THE MAJOR LASER POSTERS -AS WELL AS THOSE INTERESTED IN THE BEST HAIR LOSS INFORMATION ON THE PLANET- HAVE MOVED THERE.

-John Christian (OverMachoGrande)

——————————————————————

Ok, all of these random “All LLLT users give an update” threads are just silly. They come too frequently, people will take the time to answer in one, then another one comes along right after it and they are berated if they don’t provide an answer there, too.

We need to do this AS A GROUP, and at scheduled intervals so we will know when they are coming and when we are to provide updates. We will do this EVERY THREE MONTHS at first (January 1st, April 1st, July 1st, and October 1st ever year), and we will adjust that if we need to. We just did it, so were making the first one three months from now (well, two and half).

Feel free to post your own personal LLLT stories -I find that really exciting- but if there are any other threads asking for people to post their updates, please remind them that people are going to be SAVING THEMSELVES for the “Official Quarterly Update”.

I really think more people will respond this way, and we will have MORE of the information that we all want. Plus, we’ll have a decent period of time between people’s last statements, so if they say “Well, I have/haven’t noticed a lot”, we don’t have to figure out that they are only talking about a two week period or a six month period!

So, the first official quarterly update thread will be OCTOBER 1st, 2009!!! Mark you calendars, and if you want to write a book about it, get started early because you know when it’s coming now!

Now, this thread is OPEN SEASON! We need to keep it alive for a while so people will see it, so post whatever you want! I’ll make another announcement a few weeks before October 1st to remind everyone, and whoever wants to start the official thread can!

By the way, don’t you hate how you can’t change the title of threads? lol… So “LLLTwill” will live on forever!

Hey, nobody here knows this, but do you know what I am truly a “pioneer” of??

ELIMINATING POWERPOINT PRESENTATIONS! lol… Powerpoint presentations are DREADFUL, and I’ve successfully talked my two last companies out of requiring them for annual sales meetings, and I’ve eliminated my fair share of them for sales calls.

This isn’t 1996… NOBODY likes powerpoint presentations anymore. People’s eyes gloss over, and they don’t ever truly pay attention. It’s one thing to show pictures or something like that via computer, but to do a bullet pointed presentation is horrible!

I can’t believe that I was the first one at those companies to say “Guys… this stuff is AWFUL! Let’s cut it out and just have the person TALK TO US instead of do powerpoint!”

I was GOOD at them, too… you’ve seen my graphics! They were fun and entertaining, but it was the “Hairmax Laser Comb” of sales presentations…. all in all, it just didn’t do what it was supposed to do.

okay, i’ll be back October 1st. I need to stop visiting hairloss sites. It consumes so much of my time and i think it just adds to my stress, especially since i have better and more important things to do and they’re not getting done.

See you guys in 3 months.

I never did anything like “toastmasters” because at my first job after college, the company was growing SO FAST that they promoted all of us into outside sales positions really quickly. So, we got “thrown to the wolves”, and we were a bunch of kids (yeah, if you are 24-26 years old, you are still a “kid” in the eyes of the business world if you didn’t know that) that were all of a sudden giving presentations to large groups and company presidents, etc. It was “sink or swim”, I guess, but honestly I don’t know anyone that “sank”. I think when you HAVE TO GO OUT and do those things, I think your simple training as a human being takes over.

Anyway, that was a fun job. At that point in time, I just ASSUMED all the other outside sales jobs in the world were going to be fun like that. I assumed wrong! lol…

Anyway, on a side note, I want to address something here: I’ve been told by a third party -a non forum poster, but a forum reader and someone that I talk to on the phone occasionally- that I have sounded like a total dickhead in my posts over the last few weeks.

Let me take the time to explain this. It’s “simple frustration”. I could go into why I’m frustrated that people are posting laser helmet results after they’ve owned it for nine or ten days, I could go into why I’m frustrated that we still have people saying “red lights could be causing irritation of the skin”, I could go into why I’m frustrated with people that are bringing up the old, previously defeated, nonfactual arguments against laser therapy from a sociopathic egotistical buffoon -but then when presented with factual evidence supporting it they refuse to make a statement that they understand that he is indeed a sociopathic egotistical buffoon, I could go into why I’m frustrated at how we recently caught a minox shill making up lies about fake experiences with laser therapy and I talked about how this still goes on daily at other sites but no one paid attention to it or commented about it at all, and finally… I could go into why I’m frustrated with how people are telling me that in order for me to have earned the right to be annoyed at any of this, I should have to offer a one year money back guarantee on the helmets that I make with pure blood, sweat, and tears passionate labor, but I’ll just sum up my response instead.

When you have spent the last year and a half fighting evil -yes, evil- that is deliberately trying to spread confusion in the hair loss world for financial gain, it’s very easy to get frustrated when the confusion is starting to come from your allies. So, that’s all it is, and yes… my posts get a little “snappy” at some people, but that’s only because I wear my heart on my sleeve and I don’t make any sort of false pretense about letting someone know how I feel.

One could refer to that as being “undiplomatic”. So, I still like everyone, I’m not nor ever have been a jerk, and if you put yourself in my shoes I think you would absolutely understand. Sometimes hearing all of this when you’ve worked really hard at it SHOCKS YOU! I have 6500 posts (actually it’s probably more like 9000, but the ones before October 2006 were lost forever)… pretty much every thought I’ve ever had in recent history is on here somewhere. So, if you’ve been targeted by me in recent posts, or if you’ve read my posts and though I was a dickhead… get over it! lol… I will, so should you. It’s a FORUM.

Wow… I don’t know how I made two links on that one post earlier. I guess you can’t do two links in a post after all. I wonder how that happened, though, the first time!

october will be about 4 months for me, which is good. I’m at week 4, and I’m experiencing a minor shed. This is consistent with others on the forum who have excellent results so I’m crossing my fingers. oddly, I’m losing more hair in the shower, yet my hair looks about the same. maybe a little thinner in the front, but like I said before, I’m giving it until 6 months to see results, and until next june to see some improvement (longer hair that most people)

I have a sneaking suspicion that the comment about the 9 day “results” was aimed at me. I would like to remind everyone that I was responding to somebody else who was posting results, and nowhere did I claim that anything that was happening on my scalp was a result of the few treatments I had had up until then. If it wasn’t aimed at me, it’s all good this is a frustrating experience for us all.

Also, for the October update, I think it would be a good idea to list some identifying factors about you and your regimen. Things such as, age, hair color, current regimen, and regimen changes in the last 6 months. We may be able to see some correlations.
